Doing something that I haven't had to do for months. Put on socks! And I almost didn't find the keys to my bike. Took 10 minutes of turning things upside down to find them.

I followed instructions, upgrading my VM environment; now the system is telling me that it's no longer compatible and that I now have to destroy and recreate it! This is what happens when we let computers think for us.
Having a pineapple-chili hard seltzer. Another "WTF" flavor.

Rescanning the disks I plan to use in a file server. I found out that certain flaws could elude the diagnostics that I was using so I have to redo 8 disks. It takes half a day per disk and the tool I'm using has 3 days left on the trial. I need to reinstall Windows on the test bench computer anyway, I suppose. It should be saving some settings but it's not, despite applying the fix prescribed by Microsoft and it's pissing me off.

Last week, I managed to buy some DVDs imported from another country. Specifically: Dreyer's Ordet and Haneke's Benny's Video (Exports from South Korea) and von Stroheim's Greed (a bootleg of the reconstruction from the UK, since the last legit release ANYWHERE was on VHS). And by an extraordinary coincidence, the Haneke film has just been announced as an upcoming release from Criterion (along with The Seventh Continent and 71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance.) I have never been so disappointed to find out that a movie I love has come out of limbo and been released on the Criterion Collection.

Just got back from selling a couple pair of jeans that I bought that didn't fit me right. Offered them on Facebook Marketplace about six weeks ago and was ready to give up but got my asking price and now have some cash that I didn't have half an hour ago.
**Note to self - when you don't have much of a butt, don't order jeans that are labelled as being 'curvy'. Oh well. It all worked out.

I think the problem with male jeans is that they're not designed to show off our butts, so it's difficult to find a pair that will when we do have the butt.
