The weather page says it's still 11 degrees outside. But I don't believe it. I fucking froze.

Having a beer. Bud Light lime. It's perfect.

Ordered a few things for the new pup. Though we have a lot of stuff here, we needed some puppy food and treats as well as some new chew toys. Ordered her a tie dyed harness. Pretty excited for this new little one to join our zoo.

Trying out my new blood pressure cuff. It's a lot better unit than the cheap, wrist one that I used to have. For only $15, this was a steal. The only thing I don't like is that the tube from the cuff to the unit is somewhat short, requiring me to be right up next to the unit.

Taking a break before I dive into the meat of assembling the entertainment stand for my TV. The last few steps could really use two people, but that would mean not populating the stand before my sisters arrive. I don't think they'll come until after the Vikings game, so I've got time to consider doing it by myself.

Slipping into food coma from the last of the chili I made two days ago. I anticipate a very long nap.

My COVID: things have improved slightly, but my throat is sore enough that I prefer to use the speech synth to actually speaking. Due to my first testing positive on Saturday, however, the doctor can't prescribe paxlovid yet.

Dad's COVID: By this point, he's well enough that he can do some no-contact errands for me.

Watching football on my new TV. I haven't broken anything yet. I think I got the right TV.

I'm going to have to say that that is one beautiful bag. Not for me, obviously, but it is beautiful. I wouldn't buy one for the wife, though. She wouldn't want that kind of money spent on it...though she didn't complain about that diamond and blue topaz pendant I gave her for our 40th anniversary.
