There's a sake tasting at Surdyk's on Saturday. I'm expecting a furniture deliver Saturday, but hopefully it will come early, so I can go and talk sake with someone knowledgeable.

I'm such an airhead. I was planning to donate plasma on Saturday, but in order to do so, my entertainment stand needs to be delivered by 1:45 pm. I totally forgot the two were on the same day.

I didn't sleep well during the night. I took my meds and just finished morning coffee. I might go back to bed for a couple of hours when I'm done here.

I feel ya on the sleep thing. My sleep schedule, if you can call it that, is completely jacked up.

But, excited that I should be finalizing the purchase of a puppy for husband for a Christmas/birthday gift this morning. He is missing his little princess terribly and I found one that looks very much like her.

I know, I know...adopt - don't shop but I have tried to adopt another Cavalier on a breed rescue site for quite a while as I knew that Karma was on borrowed time and that her absence would be deeply felt around here.

Trying to figure out the balances on my two credit cards carrying the largest balances. The information regarding my Amazon card hasn't resolved itself clearly in my mind yet. I've got a balance of about $900, of which $250 isn't deferred interest. Yet, my minimum payment is only $135, and my statement says that if I make the minimum payment for the next nine months, my interest accrued on my balance is only $20-30. That doesn't make sense to me. If I exclude purchases made since my last statement, I have $178 of interest-bearing charges. I have no head for estimating compound interest, but it would seem to me that carrying an interest-bearing balance of $50 for nine months at 30% APR would amount to more than $20-30 of interest.

I guess I've got time to figure this out. There's a $179 charge on my Best Buy card which should have deferred interest but is not being represented as such online. I won't know one way or the other until my statement issues on the 8th. I guess the best course of action is to sit and fret uselessly until that occurs.

Les Miserables is at the Orpheum next week, and the cheap seats are only $40. I could use a night at the theater.

Today was not that good a day.

Last night, I wrote an Anglotopia article about how it looked like Elton John was hinting at a Glastonbury spot, and I even updated it in the middle of the night when it turned out that they actually confirmed him. And I wake up to find that someone else beat me to it.

Also, I’m starting to show some symptoms of COVID. Namely, body aches, chills, and coughs. However, I did test myself. The test came back negative.
