Of course, that looks like a peregrine falcon. Its average speed horizontal is between 40 and 56 miles per hour, and can easily go as fast as 68 miles per hour that way. And diving, it can even go as fast as 242 miles per hour, making it the fastest creature on the fucking planet. They’re going to have to catch it first is all I’m saying. And it’d probably be easier to do a running tackle on Usain Bolt.

Wondering if I can turn all the candy and goodies we got for Christmas into meals for the next couple days.

It's a red-tailed hawk, pretty common here, just not on our deck.

Fireball, we leave the a patch of the south section of our yard uncut in the fall, call it our wild life area. Gives them plenty of food for the winter.

Budgeting for January. I have about $650 carrying forward for credit card payments currently, and if I donate today and Friday, that should subsidize the cost of the XBOX so that I can finally open that up and buy the baseball game MLB The Show while it's still on sale.

Enjoying a quiet day after Christmas, watching a YouTube video of someone making a pizza out in the middle of a snowy field, over an open fire. #travelgoals

Donating plasma. My heart rate was 103 bpm when they first took it. It can't be over 100 to donate, but they allow you one retest. After relaxing for 20 minutes, my heart rate had gone down to about 80 bpm.

The donor next to me is talking about the bible, spiritual warfare, and the forces of darkness. I wish I'd put my headphones in.

Having a relaxed St John the Evangelist feast day after we somehow got roped into hosting both Christmas and Boxing Day.
In accordance with centuries of Catholic tradition, we’re celebrating this day by overeating leftovers and binge watching gangster films.
