What's everyone up to right now?

Just got out the shower and it's bloody freezing this morning. So I'm sitting on the sofa with my fan heater on right in front of me and my electric blanket around me for 5 minutes before I get dressed and go to work.
Up and getting dressed as the kids want breakfast and mummy has to go to work.
Wondering if Nora minds me imagining her out of a cold shower naked beneath an electric blanket
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Sitting her wondering why decent, otherwise intelligent people would go back to an abusive relationship
"No-one who decides that scientific evidence is not for him and that his own experience or the stories of others is the be all and end all of deciding what's true ever has the right to call people searching for reliable, repeatable evidence narrow-minded. That is hypocrisy of the most laughable kind." Derren Brown - Tricks of the Mind.

And the intelligent people still have weaknesses other humans can exploit. Abuse is confusing as fuck. Abusers generally find somebody with a need, emotional, physical, whatever, and they fulfill that need. Then the abuse starts and the ratio of abuse to payoff starts to change. It's a lot like a drug addiction. Horrible to watch from the outside when everyone else but the victim can see what's going on!

Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken." Sith code
Rather disgusted with my dad this morning.
He watches the Bachelor and this morning (the morning after the finale) he made a comment that he hopes they don't let another foreigner be the Bachelor for a long time. Wow, dad. Way to not stereotype people. The kicker is that if it were a hot Latina woman as Bachelorette instead of a hot Latino man as Bachelor he'd probably be all in favor of it. There's not enough eye roll in the world to convey how I feel about my dad right now.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
Checking my phone every 5 minutes to see what happens in NFL Free Agency. My Steelers are in the market for JerMichael Finley and Alterraun Verner.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Woke up to a favorite song on Drone Zone today. That was kind of nice. I like All India Radio. Been a bit depressed the past few days, and I think I'm emerging from it today.
I crashed really, really hard last night, but yet, I couldn't sleep past 7am (I normally awake early. Maybe 5:30am. And for no reason). In my adolescence, I could not be dragged out of bed by 8:30am. My lacrimal caruncle itches!
