I hadn't known she didn't care for them. Ooops.
Mine has other ingredients, onion, green pepper, rotel tomatoes.
Yeah, lima and butter beans by themselves are not my thing either.
Growing up on the Outer Banks, I think food choices mom had growing up were pretty limited. Dad swore that every time we came for a visit, Grandma had a ham cooked half to death for us. Like we didn't just leave the Midwest and come to the land of seafood straight off the boat. LOL

Opening up the bottle of rye my sister gave me for Christmas. It's both smooth and spicy. I might end up getting very little done today.

Munching on Pringles, with tweezers I'm fed up of always having to wash my hands after eating them, they're so greasy. At first it was just a whimsisical idea but it's actually a lot easier than I was expecting, so might keep doing this

Bad News: we'll still have to do more stuff to get it totally flush.
Other Bad News: My Photo Stream is refusing to update, so I can't post the photos I took of what it looks like now.
More than one way to fuck a cat. Here's a pic I took of the Richardsnary with its neck finally attached to the body
And because I figured out that some people might think the body looks disproportionately small, here's a picture of it with El Presidente, my longtime main guitar:

I'm still trying to get my iPhone to send new photos to My Photo Stream. I've done everything I've been able to find and the only results have been resetting the existing My Photo Stream, which only covers photos from 30 days ago to January 3 on the iPad and absolutely nothing (not even photos I just took) on the iPhone. They seem to be phasing out My Photo Stream entirely and replacing it with iCloud storage, though how to actually access them from iCloud remains elusive.

Just back from the vet with Harley for her 3 month checkup and vaccinations. Vet says she looks great and is very smart.
Next week it's Quinn's turn for shots with the new vet.

I originally had purchased one of these decanters at Aldi's at $13 intending to use it for something else. I had returned the previous one and so I was pleasantly surprised when it rang up at $6.49 last night. Thinking about it this morning, at that price I can use two of them -- one for peated whiskey and one for unpeated whiskey. They commonly blend some peated whiskey in blends to give them a hint of smoke, but when it comes to peated whiskey, I want the whole damn campfire. They had a different style, but I liked this style so I got the same kind tonight. I'll just have to label one for peated whiskey. Oddly, the label on the shelf still says that they're $12.99 each.

Vacuum sealing a bunch of meat. The 6 lbs. of ground beef was justified, as I use a lot and was basically out. Three pounds of chicken breasts, less so, as I probably have some already, buried in the chest freezer. The five pounds of chicken drummies, though, I should have skipped. But at $3.45 a bag, I was powerless to resist, even though I've got most of a bag of drummies right on top in the chest freezer. But I love drummies. They're my favorite part of the chicken. Wings and drummies, the rest can go lay an egg. I use dry rubs meant for wings because I don't often want to fire up the oven, but I could use barbecue sauce in the oven and let my homemaker deal with the mess in the broiler pan each week.

I think Dad and I figured out a way to get the iPad and iPhone photo streams sync up with iCloud. And here’s a new mock-up of the Richardsnary with the progress made so far:
And I don’t even have to create a separate folder for photos I want to upload to Postimg. Admittedly, sometimes it takes too damn long for it to sync, but evidently, all I have to do is click “prepare iCloud Link” and it works.
