Looking for a replacement steel water bottle. The one I've got (a Stanley Easy-Clean 28 oz), while the flask itself is good, has a cap that's starting to break.

This is the one that seems to fit my needs the best (even if it holds a few ounces less water than the one I've got):


Before you ask why I didn't just get another of the old model (or even just another one of the cap), it's Out of Production.

The company I retired from decided that providing bottled water was too expensive a proposition, and put "hydration stations" in all the buildings. They then issued each employee a stainless steel water vessel to use. Made in China. Our safety people wanted some tested to verify that they didn't have lead as a constituent.  Hehe  A major aerospace company buys 100s of thousands of steel bottles from China, how would they resist the temptation?  Dodgy  Don't know the end result of that inquiry. The hydration stations had filters that would clog within a few thousand liters, and shut down. Water in the area was shit.

Seriously considering a nap. The dogs lost their minds around 1 am and took me along for the ride. I remember when the party was just getting good at 1 am. Now I don't want to see that time roll around on the clock. I am too damn old for such foolishness.
