I was watching a cute video of a woman playing with two dogs yesterday. It has me thinking again of getting a dog. Maybe once the place is more cleaned up.

Maybe once the place is more cleaned up. I went to the office yesterday morning. The owner's daughter (and business mgr) recently got a new puppy and is hoping to train her to be an office dog. She was so sweet and loving. She's going to be big but if her loving nature continues, she will be a great dog for the office.

Shuffling is a premium service, and I'm not purchasing that. I thought shuffle was the default for Spotify. Or, is that only when you try to play an album with the free service?!? Regardless, I switched to Tidal and haven't looked back. Better bit rates, wider selection, more money to the artists, and no support of Joe Rogan.

My ILS worker just left. It took almost exactly the two hours to finish setting up the test system and getting the disk tests started. It will likely take the better part of a day to scan the entire surface of each disk. I was going to do the disks in batches, but I was able to hook them all up at the same time and run surface scans on all eight disks simultaneously. That will save me at least a day in the process. Unfortunately, the test bench is by the walkway to the kitchen, and the disks are setting on edge on the test bench desk, so I'm not inclined to do any involved cooking to where I would be going back and forth and risking knocking over one or more of the disks. I may eat out tonight, I don't know. I've got deli bone-in chicken wings that I bought Wednesday, I may just eat those.

Just finished doing a quick outline of an essay for one of my Classics courses. Heading downstairs for a late breakfast, and then I'm heading out to pick up some kitchenware that I had special-ordered (a humongous cookie sheet!)
Having a near beer. Baseball tonight. Hot damn. It's been almost a week. I've been having withdrawal.

Man, in some ways, Alexa is just useless. I asked for the hourly temps, and her answer was "thunderstorms, thunderstorms, thunderstorms...." -- there's thunderstorms two hours west of where I live, bitch.

Wiping the sleepiness out of my eyes. It's something that's only been happening to me recently. Takes a while before the blurriness disappears and my eyesight clears. Is this a part of getting older?

Walmart sells a quality Basmati rice brand in a 20-pound bag for $20. The saving grace is the bag has a zipper. It escaped me at the time you mentioned it, but I bought light bulbs during Prime Days as well. Gmta, eh? Eh? ![]() |
