I was shopping for a bin for my rice at Sun World Market, and I was looking around for bags of rice to make sure I got the right size and I spotted a 4 lb. bag of black lentils. I was shopping for them yesterday and was going to pay Amazon or Walmart $14, but locally they were only $6. And I got my bin home and it's about the right size. When I was at the store I thought it was too big, but it's got a red top and red patterns on the side, so it will match the stuff in my kitchen.

Yeah, I don't think that I'll be making that. A newsletter suggested "Irish Nachos" which is basically regular nachos, only using kettle-style potato chips instead of tortilla chips.

Listening to the roofers installing new shingles. I think that they are pissed about something, because the hammer blows are far louder than necessary (I've probably driven in .1M nails, myself) and they are also slamming the bags of shingles on the roof. I should go up in the morning and look for split shingles before his workers show up. I know that the packages won't go through the roof, but the noise is upsetting the dogs, and thus, me. We'll see how tomorrow goes. I usually let my wife talk to these people. She's a lot better at it than I am, in the sense that I get a bit like a pit bull in very little discussion time.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Being protected by three very fierce Cavaliers from the demon garbage truck. They even got the little parrot riled up so that he joined in the chorus.

On a whim and spurred by glowing reviews, I got Diablo IV. I have to say I am mystified by what the attraction of the game is. It is boring and endlessly repetitive, and it’s style of game play is clearly designed to operate within constraints of 1980s computer hardware, all it did was to upgrade the graphics without actually taking advantage of modern computing power to expand game play.

I was considering buying it at a later date, but the co-op part has been restraining me. I'm a solo gamer.
