I truly love love love working from home, but I think it’s my employer. But, maybe there is no perfect place.

I am lucky to have a great boss and I know that.  Sometimes her daughter pushes me a bit...as in she will tell/ask me to do something but only give me a vague hint of what she wants. She sort of starts in the middle...like I missed the first part of the assignment when it was discussed. I have to pull information out of her.  But my boss knows that and encourages me to ask all the questions I need to. The freedom I have and the appreciation I am shown is worth a whole lot.

It sounds like you’re really valued there and to me, that is priceless! I’m not money driven even though I get paid well. I’m more “words of appreciation” driven.

Me too.  My boss hikes all over the country.  When I went to the office to pick up paperwork a couple weeks ago there was a T-shirt there for me and a lovely card with a handwritten sentiment telling me how much she appreciates that what I do allows her to take off for weeks at a time.  

The shirt is cute and soft and comfy but the card meant everything.

Drinking coffee. It's the first pot I've made since becoming sick. Aside from that, it's been isolated cups and hot cocoa. One more day left to quarantine before I can go out in the world again. My cough seems completely cleared this morning. And another Amazon Prime days is coming up on October 10. I don't really have anything that I want to buy. I had some thoughts of replacing my current ice maker but was able to persist until I got the problems with the current one worked out.

Sprained my right wrist, making it impossible to rotate in certain ways. Therefore, I've been doing rather well in wiping my butt with my left hand.

 I jacked up my right shoulder many months ago, and with PT it's finally better. I'm even still using the mouse left-handed. I feel for you, buddy, though I never got to left-hand butt wiping.
