I bought a mini sound machine to play when hubby and I go to sleep. He doesn’t care about it, but I sometimes have difficulty falling asleep. It plays ocean sounds, rain, even washing machine noises. I use an app but this amplifies with the mini-speaker. It even has a timer which is cool. We’ll see how it works tonight.

What's everyone up to right now?

My first day out of quarantine. I'm going to go buy some steak and stuff to make chili. I'll prepare everything tonight and throw it all in a pot in the morning.

My sister wanted some help putting a new battery in her car. So, I'll probably have to go get chili fixings tomorrow. I'm gonna sit home and watch football tonight.

Back from at $250 trip to the market.

Procrastinating. I am going to wash my hair and put it in a braid for the cooling effect for tonight.
I have a ticket to the high school football game tonight. Not because I care about the game but because my bonus granddaughter made the high school drill team so I am going to go watch her perform. It's gonna be hot and uncomfortable and parking will suck but I do try to support the grandkids when I can in their activities. Luckily the next home game isn't for a couple weeks so it should be a bit cooler than these 90 degree temps.

I was momentarily part of the drill team in elementary school. I mainly remember the kazoo.
