Taking the day off. I got up and was feeling tired so I went back to bed. Until I get clear of covid I plan to give my body all the rest that it wants.

They finally have the new vaccine at the COVID pharmacy (supposedly). I have an appt for tomorrow at 11:30. Flu shot was a couple weeks ago. Hope the side effects are minimal.

According to the website that's what the pharmacy I go to has.

I gave up on CVS several years ago as they were so damn slow.  The day the I brought in two prescriptions on the same sheet of paper and the useless woman who worked back there managed to lose one of them was it for me.  After a late night hospital visit for kidney stones I went in and was the only customer.  The pharmacist told me it would be 40 minutes....apparently he had to whittle the pills from a large block.  He could not explain to me why it would take so long to count out 30 pills.  I was fucked up on Dilaudid and still wouldn't have taken me a minute +, per pill, to count out the pills.

Got a message from the SSA. Apparently I have a hearing in late January... at 8 AM. And they should have known that a big part of the reason I'm trying for SSA in the first place is because of my sleep issues making my being up in the morning virtually impossible.

You are going to have to make it work somehow.  After the hearing you can go back to bed.

They found an opening on their schedule.  If you miss it they will put you back on the bottom of the list.

They've given a form asking me to explain if I can't make the 8 AM phone call, and I wrote to them, explaining that an 8 AM call would be a big problem for me. And I'll also have to call the SSA office explaining my rationale. I hope that works. And I hope we can find a representative before the call finally happens.
