What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
It does sound a nice recipe, I'll have to give it a go sometime. I'm more what you might call a culinary evolutionist, a 'chuck everything in and see what works' kinda guy, I suppose.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

LOL, Stimbo, I understand... but sometimes simple and 'less is more' yield a more palatable result. Wink I envy you evolutionary types, all the same!

Hurriedly ripping some DVDs that I need to get back to the library tonight. (They're 50 cents a day to borrow, and they charge you for two days if you don't get them back before they open the next day.) Probably not a good fit for what my priorities should be this weekend, but screw it. I seldom watch recent releases like this, and I felt like indulging. (Every time I've looked at red box rental kiosks latelly I've been underwhelmed. I generally only rent Blu-ray anymore.)

Man. Six hours of nothing but hurry, all to save a few bucks on DVD rentals. I sure am my mother's daughter. Guess I didn't fall at all far from that particular tree.

I've got a talk on 'healthy sexuality' tomorrow evening, and it's way out in the suburbs, so I doubt that I'll get to reshelving books before Sunday. Ideally I'd like to defer that a week so that I can set the last book shelf up in its intended final location, but if management decides to hassle me in the meantime, they'll make an issue of all the boxes of books, and I can't afford to risk that.

I wish I felt like getting drunk.

Bummer, Germans... You can always come and hang out with me! Life is never boring... at least the way I live it!

I'm at work. It's really nice, since I haven't been here for a week, and all my favorite co-workers (especially my sister Heart ) are here today. It's busy as usual, but that's the way I like it. Smile
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
