Eating the leftovers from yesterday's lunch, something that translates to 'drunk shrimp'. Shrimp with a spicy chile sauce with onions and such. Made it to Mazatlan hours before dark, despite some unexpected rain.

We lucked out and got a Airbnb with a secure garage. Not having to unpack the car is priceless.

450 km to go. We're planning on hitting the road at dawn. Should be home by lunchtime.

Spent over an hour waiting for my Laptop to restart after the latest Windows update. And I think about 20 minutes after finally being able to log in before I could actually get past the 100% Disk problem.

We're a couple of hours from, apparently there was a ton of rain dumped in the mountains east of the city and caused widespread flooding yesterday afternoon and evening. Apparently the storm water management system was simply overwhelmed. I'm pretty sure we can get home today. The dogs are ready to be done with it.

I'm out of ground coffee. I was going to run to the store, but I think I'll wait until the rain stops tomorrow. Nothing I need that badly.

Made it home, there was flooding within a few blocks of us, the usual road we take is a mire of mud. We came in the back way down the hill which is now paved.
