Rolled into northern Utah as it was getting dark. Both dogs escaped from the tent, prompting a flashlight rescue patrol in my socks. Stopped and had lunch in SLC with a friend. Religion and politics aside, Utah is at least interesting. I like this route better than the Interstate 5 route through California (boring as fuck).

Watching baseball and making dinner. The earlier game ended up being a good game, but it was lopsided early on, so I went off and played videogames while it was getting good.

In Tucson, crossing tomorrow. I think we really prefer this route through Utah compared to California - it's about 200 km longer but only about an hour longer drive time due to higher speed limits. The scenery is more than worth it.
