Doing some more Christmas shopping and watching football. I think I've got the main gifts for two of the three people I give gifts.

Making four days worth of overnight oats. Phillies play tonight, but I'm not overly interested. We'll see when the time comes.

Tracking hurricane Otis. It's not going to hit us, it's predicted to make landfall between Acupulconand Zihuatanejo close to category 5.

Seems to be a particularly bad year.

Trying a new coffee blend. I had avoided Aldi's coffee because, given the price, I figured it had to be bad. But it's not. It's not the best coffee I've ever tasted, but it's good enough for everyday coffee. I've been drinking the Breakfast Blend and decided to try their Adventure Blend. It's even better.

My sump pump alarm went off last night. Couldn't figure out what was wrong. Read the user manual and checked the internet, the only thing I could figure out was that the 10yo backup battery might have finally given out, the manual said to replace ~ every 3 years (duh moment). Just finished putting the new one in. god damn those marine batteries are heavy. Can't wait to see what my back tells me tomorrow.

Just got back from donating plasma. I haven't eaten since breakfast due to having to leave in the early afternoon. I'd like a hard seltzer, but I'm gonna try to eat first.
