What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Going to the ballgame today and tomorrow. I haven't decided whether to splurge and get beer at the ballpark.

I've had toes numbed by cortisone shots, three or so years ago. They still have diminished sensation, which I'm really happy about. The podiatrist numbed them somehow and I didn't feel the needle. Thinking about it, I recall having felt the needle when the pain meds were injected. Can't win! One cortisone shot in my left elbow, a few decades ago. I'm wanting to avoid knee replacement, but the osteo doc pointed out how thin the joint gaps are.  Dodgy I'd like for a grease zerk fitting to be installed.  Hehe

Do you have Synvisc injections?

Never heard of it. It wasn't mentioned. I'll check into it.

Put the turkey breast on. I'm just kind of winging it. Slathered it with butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and sage and tented it with aluminum foil. I'll try out my new boning knife on it.

My MS 365 Personal annual subscription expires in two weeks. I only use it for the terabyte of cloud storage. I had thought of switching providers, but HP is selling annual subscriptions for $40 off, so I guess I'm staying.

I remember having no AC as a child. We finally got a swamp cooler. We were way too poor for AC, either for the installation or the electric bill. I truly am lucky to not have ended up on the street.

We lived in a tiny little trailer with no AC.  The trailer was as wide as our couch.  My room's floorspace what the hallway from the kitchen to the bathroom and mom and dad's room.  Dad had to build on a room so we would have somewhere to put my sister other than the bathtub.

My parents got AC the year I left home, still makes me wonder.

I grew up without AC here in FL. If I could do it, anyone can.

Watching Elsbeth. I've heard a lot of good things about the series. It's kind of fun. My turkey is taking longer than expected. It's only 115 F after 90 minutes.
