I've been busy trying to get things done that I have put off due to my stomach issues. Eye exam and glasses ordered - check. Teeth cleaned - check. Appointment tomorrow to have the teeth fixed we planned to fix on January 2nd but the dentist had COVID, then I had a cold, then my stomach went on strike again.

In between - pet care - lots and lots of pet care.

Basically I am taking lots of pills and spending a metric shit ton of money. (That's not even counting the new HVAC and breaker panel).
I'm your huckleberry.

Checking out candidates for the upcoming primary. Found out that most of our city council and the mayor are real estate agents. The mayor/council is pushing for a sales tax increase to build an indoor water park to attract tourist dollars. The interesting thing is that the proposed site is next to a large section of undeveloped land owned by the mayor.

Eating the remains of my dinner. Aguachile de camarón con piña. Raw shrimp (or other raw fish) in spicy acidic sauce, with some combination of onion, cucumber and in this case pineapple. It's delicious if you can get past eating super fresh and clean shellfish/fish. Did mention it's spicy?

As it turns out I ordered it a 3 (out of 5). So right now I'm having a bit of an endorphin rush and my lips are no longer on fire. Would do again.

Back from the dentist and hoping the Novocaine wears off quickly. I would much prefer the effect of the gas to last half the day instead.
