Happy holidays to my fave atheists!!  This year has been so busy, good and bad ways. I'm trying to start a side business with an art/photography hobby. May 2025 be the year I can take it to the next level. 

Anyone concerned about the drones over NJ/NY?

I follow a lot of pages from the Outer Banks of NC and they are seeing drones and suspicious aircraft a lot lately.  Everything is just weird lately.

To celebrate the new job, and the big pay bump, I've taken another mistress:



Firefly's take on the Gibson Explorer. She's arriving tomorrow, and I'm shivering with anticipation!

Delivery was late, but she's here and even more gorgeous in person. Plugged her in, tuned her up, and played a bit. She sounds amazing. I need to re-string, lower the action a bit, adjust the pickups, and probably set the intonation, but that's to be expected, especially buying online. I was insanely lucky with my Strat. She was setup and tuned before shipping, so all I had to do was fine tune and start playing. But that one came from a guitar shop in Cali, not from Amazon.

ETA: Yeah, intonation is near perfect! I may have to tweak it after changing the action and adjusting the pickups, but for this session, it's damn nnear spot on!

Why isn't there a football game on tonight?

I had to run downtown and pick up packages. It seemed colder than 15 F. Oh well. It's expected to warm up tomorrow. And snow.

Got my violation pictures back, everything normal. The weird part was that it included a picture of the scope entering my rectum. Doesn't even look like a butt hole, just this black tube with a '0' on it surrounded by flesh.

Path also came back, three 6mm polyps, all normal except for being polyps.

Deciding whether to eat before I go out to the forge or after I’m done. If I eat before, I’ll get comfy and sated and will very likely put off what I’m supposed to do. If I eat after, I’ll be distracted by my empty belly. It is a puzzlement.

Fucking freezing rain over night again, I getting cabin fever.

Went to the pharmacy to pick up some meds and asked the pharmacist for some advice. I still weigh next to nothing though I am feeling better. We went through all the Boost and Ensure drinks that have not helped at all. My issue is not having an appetite. So...he advised some CBD gummies. I never cared for pot...just not my thing, but off to the CBD store I went as I had pretty much come to the conclusion that was going to be my only chance to fluff up a bit. We'll see how it goes.

My world gets stranger and stranger. I jokingly told my granddaughter over Thanksgiving that I was still living out the 1970s. Apparently, I am fully back to the hippie days.
