I just got a call from the SSA. It appears that, after years of trying, I am finally going to receive benefits for my sleep and autism issues. How much remains to be seen, but that should be finalized within the next 30 days.

Checking the battery on my phone and tablet. I haven't charged either in a week but they're still good to go. Yay!

I need to drag an XL air fryer to UPS to return today. I'm not looking forward to it.

Ordering my new ice maker. They say that it will arrive Friday. I'm surprised that they can get it here this fast. I decided to go with silver color. Red or black would have cost an additional $30, which would have been silly. And I skipped the extended warranty. It wasn't a lot of money, but it's returnable within 90 days and I figure that if it's still working after 90 days, odds are it will keep going for the length of any warranty.

Looking at pour-over gear. I've got a precision hot water kettle, but the spout is wide and therefore not ideal for pour-over. Looking at gooseneck kettles, I'm coming to the conclusion that a keep-warm function is important. Kettles without it start cooling immediately after reaching temperature. With keep-warm I don't need to babysit the kettle waiting for it to reach temperature. Plus most kettles with keep-warm offer variable temperature. Not that I need that. Green or white tea benefits from a lower temperature, but I seldom drink those.

My new coffee mugs were supposed to be delivered yesterday. So I went downtown to pick them up as well as other things. Little did I know at the time they'd somehow ended up in Portland, OR.

The box I returned my XL air fryer to Amazon in was pretty beat up. Some of the styrofoam packaging was broken off and so I only put the intact pieces back in. I'm having nightmares of the box and everything spontaneously disassembling.
