Installed the Chinese knockoff Tiffany lamp in the dining area. IT'S FUCKING DARK IN HERE!
She says we can send it back. Sure, another few hours taking it down and boxing it back up, and then reinstalling the original light, which was just fine. FML and fuck Tiffany lamps.

Eh, I'm going to frame up a partition and put some indirect lighting up. The fixture and glass shades are nice enough looking, after all. She's not gonna be happy about it, but my givashit is broken.

LED strips. Stripe the walls with them. Serves two purposes -- lighting and wall decoration.
It'll be something on that order. I had a single bright 4 foot long two-row LED fixture which was great for the space. It's meant for shop use, so not all that attractive. I have LED strips providing indirect lighting in two other rooms. I'm just disgusted with spending all the time and effort for such an unsatisfactory result.
ETA: Put two 3-foot long 3000 Lumens (each) LED lights on top of the book case. They're side by side, and one is probably enough there. I'll extend a shelf from the book case and have them in line instead. Then I'll be happier.

Sipping on some half-csff tea. I've been taking time off from donating plasma to focus on developing some regular daily habits. I think I'll restart on Thursday.
