My Dad’s been working on an ES-335 kit for years, and he’s finally gotten the biggest stumbling blocks down (installing the electronics in one is about as hard as making a ship in a bottle). It’s close to being finished now and we think it might be playable later tonight.

Cleaning my ice maker. It's a pain but if you don't, they wear out quicker. The drain plug on my new one is underneath, which is much harder to reinsert than my last one's plug, which was on the back.

Didn’t take. I quoted $5000 and said it would take three weeks. They asked if I could do any better, and I said, ‘If I cut a few corners, 18 days.’

I always (and I do mean ALWAYS) get half up front. If I don’t get the rest on completion, there are consequences. Horrible ones.

That’d be a bit extreme, even for me. But the church is about 150 years old, so I’m sure there’s a few antiques I could have ‘liberated’ for the balance.
