What's everyone up to right now?

We decided with the situation being what it is up north that we aren't going to drive up for the summer as has been our custom, nor do we expect to ever do so ever again. Rather we're flying for a more brief visit to see family and take care of some necessary business.

At least you managed to get out of the country.

Grilling lamb shoulder chops. I'm thinking that they look like they're going to be a bit tough. Such is life.

After spending two days researching computers to see what a good upgrade would be, I discovered that the ancient Xeon-based server boards I bought a while back should be more than adequate.

There was a tracking trial today, three of our trainees were entered. One of the trainees (Adria) had the only dog that passed, a basset hound.

Booked our Mexico City to Amsterdam round trip, moved our travel days a week and saved $800. We think our ininerary is set - stays in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Vilnius. It's a "happiest places tour" of sorts.

I didn't like Morel mushrooms but enjoyed looking for them with my grandmother in the timber on the family farm.
