What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Spent the morning at the lake making sure the neck seal on my drysuit doesn't leak. It does, a little, but not enough to worry about. My neck is 2" smaller than when it was sized originally, I haven't used it in over a decade.

You could fix that with a conscientiously applied programme of pies, cakes, and deep fried food, taken internally. With food.

You can trust me, I’m a blacksmith.

Dealing with corporate survivors guilt. They're expensive and experienced. I'm cheap and effective.

Discovered a great looking pan. Misen makes pre-seasoned carbon steel skillets for about $100. They have a wide flat interior base, steep sides, and included silicon handle grip. It looks absolutely super. And I'm still thinking about getting another T-Fal hard-anodized nonstick skillet. I bought a deep 10.5" nonstick skillet earlier this year, but I haven't liked that as much as the T-fal. It's somewhat awkward handling and cleaning compared to the T-fal. And I can get two of the hard-anodized skillets for only $5 more than one, albeit without the lids, which I never use.

I finished Where Stars Land. That was a lot of fun. Now I need to find my next Korean drama.

I'm running out of room for my Korean dramas. Between new disks for downloading TV shows, a new carbon steel skillet, and some new plates, the total will run to about $350. I've got 12-month interest-free financing, but it's still a big hit. Fortunately, I just paid off the balances on several credit cards to reduce my assets for my annual county benefits review.

Shopping for a new umbrella. I decided I didn't want to waste several hours going to Walmart to buy one. Amazon and Walmart are similar on price. And Amazon does more volume so there's more reviews for the top products than at Walmart. Plus, Amazon's review AI is a little better.
