What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
I was banned from POSTIMAGE for a few minutes due to an apparent ToS violation. I think it might be due to an altered version of an old poster I tried to upload to it. Then I tried again and it’s working fine.

(Note: this isn’t the poster)

I woke up at 5:05 and glanced up at the ceiling where the time was displayed in red. For a moment, I thought that someone needed rescuing.

Putting on a pot roast. I had a pot roast in a bag kit from the store, but the roast is 4-5 pounds and so the bag was too small. So I just filled up a roasting pan and tented it with aluminum foil. I've got the oven set to 275 F. I'll pull it in four hours and see how things are going. I'm going to need to vacuum seal the leftovers as there's too much to eat in a short time frame.

Thinking of checking out Libby, for reading local library books.

Applied online for a public library card. Glad you can do that now.

The issue I had with Libby is that I would find a book I liked that was part of a series but then there would be other books in the series that weren't available.

It depends a lot on what library/libraries you are linked to.   For me, the choices were quite limited and I haven't used it in a while.

What platform do you use? Is the content free or are you paying?

Looking at recipes for chia pudding. I used to eat overnight oats, but I had trouble being consistent as there's a good bit of prep involved. Chia pudding is a little simpler to prepare.

I've been using Audible and yes, I pay a monthly fee for one free book.  Sometimes I buy the discounted package of 3 credits.  There are a few good free books available with the membership.
