Target had a coupon for $5 off when you buy $30 of food. If I paid with food stamps, it was asking for a $6 delivery fee for the part that would be shipped, so it about canceled out. But it couldn't charge the shipping fee to food stamps, and it wouldn't let me select my Target credit card for that. So I switched to paying the whole thing with my Target credit card, and that gave me an additional 5% off and dropped the shipping fee. $kaching!$ The only downside is that the pasta sauce won't arrive until Tuesday.

I didn't expect my errands to take so long today. I left at 1:15 P.M. and just got in at 8:00 P.M. If I'd known it would take that long, I'd have brought crackers.

I’m subscribed to a YouTuber named Waylon McPherson, who specializes in modding guitars, amps, and effects. Some of his most intriguing videos involve modding wah pedals. On his website, he has a schematic supposedly based on a wah used by none other than Jimi Hendrix. Whether or not it actually is authentic, it sounds great. I won’t share the Hendrix schematic, but I will share another discovery I just made: despite neither one being reflected in the actual schematic, if you combine two of his wah videos, you can get damn close to the Hendrix wah’s tone.








Just combine these two simple mods, and replace a 390R (or 470R) resistor with a 330R resistor, and you get pretty bloody close to identical (just click to see how close they can get, plus how different they are from the default CryBaby):





Surprisingly, of the three modifications, zero of them are reflected in the Hendrix schematic I bought, and yet, their results are close.
