What's everyone up to right now?

I envy you. If I didn't hate flying and travel in general, I'd be doing this sort of thing. Arthritis in many joints also precludes a lot of it.

The truth is, I hate flying but it's a necessary evil.  Arthritis is catching up with me too, and there's places I want to see before I'm too old to enjoy them.

Rock on! Arthritis has hit me many places, but my knees are the worst. Can't kneel or squat. I'll be selling off my big mechanic tools, like the engine hoist. I did enough engine work in the past that I bought my own. It has paid for itself. Got a leaky pipe at the water heater. Relatively easy access from a step stool, but I can't do that, either. Fortunately one of my sons took after me and knows how to go about fixing it. It would have been a nothingburger even 3 years ago.

I think a package thief got my new saucepans. It was only $15, but I was looking forward to them.

Boyfriend thought the store would be open today (has been for half a day in the past). Haha. Anyhoo, the "holiday" meal has been downgraded to sausages. It's not like we really celebrate anyway.

Third day with clients in a row, with another tomorrow. I've got sore muscles I didn't know existed.

Son scaled the ladder and made short work of the leaking pipe. Now, I see that the hot water expansion tank is seeping. I really wish I had seen that before buying parts. Going to have to shut the water off again to replace that tank. It's just an annoyance to have to shut the water off and partially drain the system, again. I'll not be buying that tank until the Black Friday sales have tapered off. Too much stupid on the roads.

The cuff I packed with me for holding my silverware didn't fit my silverware, so I had to eat with my left hand at dinner. It was awkward.

Cold weather came in last night. Get to wear my coat again.

Getting the house cleaned up and ready for our family Thanksgiving tomorrow. It was decided (not by me) that we would be eating at noon so it's going to be an early start for me.

I'll be making the turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Daughter is bringing about a half dozen things and daughter in law is bringing rolls....we hope, she forgot them last year.

Usually, I'd have gone out to Superdawg for lunch, and then to the library and Half Price Books, but we decided against it because it looks like Tintin in Tibet outside.
