^ I bought one of those cuffs recently. It reads 5 mm Hg higher on both systolic and diastolic pressures than a calibrated unit at the doctor's office. As long as the offset is known, it's not a problem.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Replacing the battery on a clip-on pedestrian safety light. I looked at some online and some were rechargeable, which was an appealing feature, but I was able to replace the two batteries on the one I already had and saved $5-10. I've got a magnetic clip-on one, but I never use it because I'm afraid of losing it. This one is basically a small carbiner with an LED light and fortunately it didn't take an odd battery type.

I think I'll go to Perkins for lunch. They've got a burger & pie combo for $11, but I'm not really in the mood for a burger.

Long day. Running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Perkins for lunch. Target next door for tonic water, which they didn't have, so I ordered it for pickup at the Target near my house. That was okay, as I needed other things from there, as well. Then I shoot over to Total Wine for soju, gin, and more tonic water. Home for a few minutes before the bus to Target, grab a few things at Target, and then back home again.

Iced coffee, tropical fruit drink, and pizza for breakfast. I had stomach issues again last night, so I ran to the store for drinks this morning as I hadn't set up my cold brew before I went to bed.

Heard that I've successfully convinced the SC Revenue Service that I live in the only house I own. All I needed was a Real ID, a social security card or birth certificate (weird, I had to show my birth certificate to get the Real ID), my vehicle registration, and my 2024 SC tax return. Then I had to upload them because they weren't included on the application when I presented them in person, for some reason. It's the difference between a 7 or 8 hundred dollar property tax bill and a $4,000 plus tax bill. Why my residency disappeared since last year I have no idea.
Next year I'll qualify for a homestead exemption on the first $50,000 of my home's value because I'll be 65.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Trying to untangle the mess that Firefox has become. Some of its databases are corrupted resulting in some loss of function. Hopefully I can refresh the install.

My new blood pressure cuff arrived. I'll compare it with the reading from my nurse's on Monday. It's within the normal range that I experience.
