Walmart to the rescue! My Google Chromecast for the living room was freezing up whenever I'd cast to it. I had a $20 Walmart ONN clone that I'd never used. It works perfectly.

The Twins game is delayed due to a power outage. Hrm. That's a new one.

My insurance card for my new health plan arrived. My coverage was supposed to switch on April 1, but I guess better late than never.

It's 38 F at Target Field today. I considered going to the opener. I like spring because of baseball, but I don't like shivering in the stands.

I drove into olympia earlier today to pick up The Wife - saw a (seemingly) homeless woman at a bus stop in front of the safeway. The sun was shining, not a drop of rain, temps are warm. She was singing, and smiling, and rubbing one out on the bench. There were two other people, one on either side - both looking straight ahead - one holding in giggles and the other pretending it wasn't happening - and I thought to myself....nice, people can still find joy -and- mind their own business.

Had to retire the bolo tie I’ve been wearing since I was 18 because the leather cord was starting to fall apart. So, I ordered one that was as close to it as possible from RockyMountainWestern. I ordered it late Wednesday night and I got it at 2 PM.
