I keep finding devices that I'd forgotten that need their Wifi settings reconfigured with the new router's info. The bedroom light, the phone, and my TV tuner all eluded me. I've yet to get the bedroom Chromecast.

Granted, it’s synthetic, but a real black fire opal of this size would likely be far outside my pay grade. Of course, “this size” is 13x18 mm.

Tiny? Yes. But at least it’s big enough to fit into one of Rocky Mountain Western’s four standard sizes for jewel settings for their bolo ties.
I’d have bought a larger size, but I couldn’t get one for cheap. I’ve ordered the rest of the supplies I’d need to make a bolo tie.
Why make a black fire opal bolo tie? As an homage to Uncut Gems, of course.
(Yes, I’m aware that half of the dialogue in this clip is bleeped out. At least that means they bleeped out the N-bombs Kevin drops, which I guess makes it AF-friendly.)
Lovely stone!

I wish I could have found a bigger one, but evidently, the synthetic opal people aren’t wiling to sell bigger cabochons.

My BP is 116/73 this morning. I seem to be doing okay at the lower dose of metoprolol, but even that may be unnecessary.

Testing a graphics card that I bought for testing. I could have stuck it in the current AM5 platform, but I'd hate to lose $400 of components due to a bad $15 graphics card. So I pulled out my old Core-2-Duo system that's 17 years old and set that up in the test frame. It fired up like a champ. It's basically the last board that I have for testing seeing as the Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe died and the Asus P8Z77V-LE was likewise. I need to add another board for testing, but the money is a bit tight until June or July.

It's cold out, so the temperature in my apartment is also down. Bugger.
