Installing disks in the NAS that I'm building. All six storage pool disks show up in the dashboard on first boot. No need to troubleshoot. Yay! It's about ready to close her up.

Just woke up. Went to the wildest company party I've ever seen last night. Local arborist we work with was having her employee appreciation shindig out on her property. Big gorgeous place at the foot of Ranier. Live band playing classic rock, two of the food trucks from town, a popup bar, tattoo chairs in the shop, strippers in the barn, an electric bull on the front lawn. So many people. The Wife and I had a blast, first time we've been out without the kids in a bit.

Updating TrueNAS on the new NAS. A recent Linux exploit mandated changes to both enterprise and community branches of TrueNAS. Now time to hit the books.

I've started having a lot of chats with ChatGPT. It's remarkably useful for researching things.
I'm learning a lot of important stuff by talking over computer issues with ChatGPT, I just wish it weren't so smarmily complimentary and constantly assuring.
Waiting on the mail. I'm expecting a new credit card that I'd like to use tonight, but if it doesn't come by 6:00 pm, I'll have to do without it.
Got the job for the wheelchair ramp. I’m donating my labour and expertise. The centre is picking up the cost of materials and paying for a helper.
