Looking over my finances. I'll be up about $250 in June, and down $250 in July when my latest computer purchase comes due. I'm surprised that despite some expensive losses this year, I'm managing well.

Might be getting an ipad this weekend in order to better play Moonlight Peaks when it's released.

Talking over computer fan matters with ChatGPT. I need a better fan for the gaming computer but I'll wait until Prime Days to order. That will introduce a delay in getting the new machine up and running.

Taking some pictures of the socket pins on an AM5 motherboard. The pins are fine, but there's a small copper-gold flake of something at the base of one of the pins. I'd lose money on the deal, but I think I'll try to sell it. I just don't trust it over the long term with whatever it is that's reflecting from the bottom of the socket.

I figured out why my new phone was so cheap. The latching mechanism on the SIMM card tray was broken. I was able to open it with a utility knife and SIMM and SD card are now installed. I don't feel like paying $30-60 extra for an inconvenience. I got my new case and screen protector on. The screen protector isn't fully sticking on one corner, so I may need to buy another.

*yawn* Coffee and pills. My gaming PC work is delayed a couple of weeks as I wait for Prime Days on June 22-23 to order a part. Not sure what to do in the meantime.

ChatGPT just saved me $5-10. I was going to order a fan, but ChatGPT alerted me to the fact that its cord was too short and needed an extension. For $1 more I can get one with a long cord.
