Looking up some Nutcracker stuff on YouTube. I'm being hinted that that's a big b-day gift for me this year.

I LOVE the Nutcracker Suite! Tchaikovsky is wonderful
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I went 2 or 3 years ago. California Ballet, here in San Diego. It was lovely. The costumes, the set...everything. (I had seen it at age 7 as well, IIRC. I think afterwards, I had a crush on that older girl in the nightie, Clara :p ) But I didn't even bother reading the plot beforehand. Time to ejibikate myself.

I was in that ballet when I was 7. I was an angel *giggle. And I knocked down a candycane *giggle giggle
But its one of my favorite childhood memories and I break out Tchaikovsky every Christmas
I don't know the story either. Mouse men something something, fairies something, Prince in impossibly tight pants something, Nutcracker.

Attempting to find out who came up with the saying "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." I probably will never know, but I must still try.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Having trouble sleeping. I was up rather early, so I lay down at 8 and started watching Mud. Too tired to watch, so I tried to sleep. Electric hot pot is heating some water, then I'll have something hot to drink. Probably beef or chicken broth. Maybe I'll clean for a while. I made good progress last night, but quit short of where I wanted to be before I quit.

Idly thinking about how much Ted Cruz sounds like Marty Huggins.

Out and about, a thunderstorm brewing. I like the rain. It hides the tears,
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
