What's everyone up to right now?

Got my new contacts today. Apparently the original prescription was correct, and actually these do seem better for some reason, so I defer to scientific knowledge. At least they don't hurt my eyes like the last lot. I might see if I can go for the tinted ones; I quite fancy having emerald green eyes, or maybe those incredibly sexy and alluring ice-blue ones.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I never thought I'd take to them. It does look rather gruesome, holding the eyelids wide open and then poking a finger in. Even seen from the inside, you're faced with an impending fingertip aiming directly at your eye. It's similar to the glaucoma test they give you at the opticians, in which they get you to stick your face into a contraption from the Inquisition Surplus Store, then without warning fire a blast of air into your eyeball. The first one takes you by surprise, but then you know what the other one's in for. And yet it's something I do all the time now. Like masturbating, only I can do it in public with less attention.
