I had tentatively decided to deploy the new workstation today, though the motivation to do so is seeming rather remote at this moment in time. Still deciding whether to put Xen under everything or run it all from within Windows 7. Leaning towards Xen for flexibility, but it's a rather modest i3 processor. I suppose if it's too much for the i3, an upgrade to an i5 or an i7 isn't that far off.

Watching one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies in my hotel room complete with out-of-sync dialogue and blue screens.

Thinking

Remembering why I gave up owning a TV when Digital arrived.

Am I the only one who has never been able to follow a Pirates of the Caribbean movie?

I never know who is fighting who or why and stop caring after 10 mins.

Maybe it's just me.

Depends on the store, but yes, some do. We used to get a regular one from a company called Pabo, which saw some business from us. Then there's Anne Summers, of course (not to be confused with erstwhile slayer Buffy Anne Summers, which attracted a few lulz when first revealed).

This is something that I've never had an issue with. I ignore expiration dates, ignore my wife when she says leftovers aren't safe anymore, hardly warm up any leftovers in the microwave, but I've never once had food poisoning.

I've been around people that have been poisoned by food but I seem to be immune to the possibility.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.
