Two things:
First, I refuse to rely on a business model that can potentially render your music (or book, or movie) collection unplayable.
Second, how the hell would I get Lita Ford to sign my MP3s on Sept. 20th?!?
And third, (I know, us old farts can't count to well either) 
Besides, I have CD's that have been out of print since before iTunes.

If it makes you feel better, I have a cassette that I recorded my favorite songs from the radio on to back when I was young. Sadly I have no way to listen to it unless I'm visiting my grandma. She has a cassette player in her car.

Watching Real Time. Nate Silver says the Republicunts are going to win the midterms. He's usually right. I had heard this before, but I figured the closer we got to the midterms, the republicans would continue to do what they do---fuck everything up. The only problem is that they are fucking everything up and blaming it on Obama. And gullible ass people are eating that shit up.

Umm....lol I have a VCR, hooked up....in good working condition...
In my defense, I am very picky about what I let my kids watch. Many of the magic school bus episodes are on VHS. Along with Bill Nye the Science Guy. All of Penelope K By The Way are in Spanish and on DVD.
Meh judge me I don't care :p
I love my VCR.

I have a working VCR i treat it like its made of gold.
If you have VHS tapes theres a DVD recorder/ VCR that you can use to copy VHS tapes to dvd.
Also i think there are DVD's of magic school bus now and its coming back on netflix too.
