It's an apple...they all taste different. That's not weird.

They've been tasting very uniform for the last several months, though, and this is the first apple from the new batch I just bought and it's sooooooo different!! It's like eating a carrot every day and getting used to the carroty taste and then being given a zucchini and being told it's a carrot. They taste that different.

I think the store switched suppliers or something - these Golden Delicious apples (the new batch) are greener then they used to be (they were more yellow) with less mottled and dull skin (they look smooth and shiny now), and they taste REALLY different.

Just had an argument with my dad.
He's been having diarrhea for the past... oh... month and a half and refuses to go to a doctor to get treated. Why? Because he has read somewhere that the doctors will do an endoscopy on him, like the one he had to endure when he was in the army and ate poisonous mushrooms (cue back to 1970 or so). Since he doesn't want to go through that again, he refuses to go to the doctor and tries to heal himself by just eating right... -.-'
Ended with him almost telling me never to talk to him again. and "if I die, I'll die, there!". Why are people like this?

My dad was afraid and didn't want anyone to know. He died a few months later. Call your dad and tell him you love him.

My father in law did the same while vomiting blood - He almost died, lucky guy - He entered the hospital to the ER with the red bracelet, it was almost a miracle they healed him on time - Problem with digestion and stuff, they had to do surgery.

I'll admit that as a young person I don't go to doctor's often, I only go If I'm feeling bad - But if I'm not ok, I'll go right away.

I'm guessing because she lives in the city, and the apple orchards are not. Our "Urban Growth Boundaries" pretty much preclude any agriculture happening inside populated areas. Drive 15 miles or so, there's more apples than you can shake a stick at, leastwise the varieties that grow here, when they're in season (which is right about now, or in a week or three).
