I lived in San Diego for a good chunk of my childhood. There is a lot I like about that place. But I prefer where I am now, Berkeley, by a narrow margin.

Keri have you moved to a colder clime? When we moved to Maryland from San Diego at the end of 7th grade I thought I'd freeze to death.

Well, there are games at 12:00, 4:30, and 7pm. Not sure I care for anything enough to spend a whole day at it. Probably skip the nooner. SDSU don't play until 7.

It is a bit colder, but it's not the cold that bothers me. It's the 8 months of rain and wind and utter chaos from the sea that bothers me. Even though we are a 10 minute walk from the seafront we were still evacuated because 4 storm surges in 2 weeks... made this:

plus flooding on non-seafront streets. The sea was angry.

So yeah, the cold I can handle. The wind just cuts right through you and the rain is a nuisance.

With all that said, it's been a change from where I've lived before and there are lots of good days. It's been gorgeous lately.

Yes, camping is my thing - And I got a nice tan at the pool, learned how to cook some new meals, it was great.
