I will think about it. They just look an awful lot like hominy.
Hominy is corn though. Oddly processed corn.
Grab a can of garbanzo beans next time you're at the store. They're relatively cheap so if you don't like it, it's not that much of a waste.
I know what hominy is. It's just, if it has the texture of hominy, then I will hate it.
But I will try it anyways just to be sure.

Ah. Apologies.
I like chickpeas but dislike hominy if that's any help.
The texture is different in my opinion. Hominy is too dry and rough for my liking.

Oh another note. I'm almost done editing this chapter for draft printing. It's far too short, but it's a start.
"Yes, I am a Free Lover. I have an inalienable, constitutional and natural right to love whom I may, to love as long or as short a period as I can; to change that love every day if I please, and with that right neither you nor any law you can frame have any right to interfere. And I have the further right to demand a free and unrestricted exercise of that right, and it is your duty not only to accord it, but as a community, to see I am protected in it. I trust that I am fully understood, for I mean just that, and nothing else."

Making it through the afternoon...and ran across something online, that has restored my faith in humanity.
I love hummus by the way...I have friends who came to America from Syria a few years back, and they make THEE BEST FOOD EVARRRR.
I can only dream of cooking that well. I mean, DELICIOUSNESS beyond compare.

All my weekends are 2-day weekends, except for the rare few that get a holiday on a friday or monday.

My office switches schedules from four 9-hour days and one 4-hour day per week to four 10-hour days in the summer, from the time kids get out of school until Labor Day.
Lucky girl... But you work 10-hours a day... not as nice, if you have to pick up the kids before the 10 hours are up.

What is it that you ran across if you don't mind sharing?
Mediterranean hummus is the best! I lived in Cyprus for 3 months last summer and the food, oh man, the food. I had to get up at 5am and run every morning in order to not put on weight from eating so much delicious Greek/Cypriot food.
And thank you! Yes I did. This forum is refreshing. I wish I could spend more time here. It's distracted me from my writing too much already!
If I need a break though, I am taking a quick peek on here.

I have my word count turned off so I don't focus on it whilst writing but I just printed out Chapter 5 (I'm writing from end to beginning it seems) and it's nearly 2000 words and I have some of Chapter 1 written as well and I'm officially 1/4 of the way there. Which is good. Because I thought that I would never get this far. I'd like to reach 50% by Sunday night, 75% by Wednesday night so I have something to actually show my supervisor. Last time we met I had a pile of research and some ideas floating around in my head. Positively met ideas but still, nothing concrete.
Also, I just got an email back from the director of the film. It wasn't anything significant, it was just an answer to a question regarding the film studio that released it, but still. I love when people actually write back.

Somehow pulled a muscle in my lower back, so I'm stuck in bed today with a heating pad.

I uninstalled anti-virus software because I thought it was not letting me access a server... really the server just blew up. Lolz.
