RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Tab-hopping between 279 billion tabs on Chrome. I am on Virtual Tourist looking up the ports of call of my cruise next year (Coco Cay, Bahamas; Charlotte Amalie, USVI; St.-Martin/Sint Maarten). As well, I'm on Sophia Chua-Rubenfeld's Twitter (she's "Tiger Mom's" daughter), the SDSU Aztecs sports page and the cheer team page.

I'm waking up, maybe I'll have a cup of coffee and then I'm going to attack my chemistry calculations.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I'm still asleep, at something past three in the afternoon. That's what depression does for you. Plus I am so scared of what I'm going to say to my friend when I see her tomorrow. It's got to be cards on the table time, if I haven't already lost her anyway.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

good luck, Steve ![Smile Smile](https://atheistforums.org/images/smilies/smile.gif) Love is strange innit? I hope you get what u want Maybe she's testing to see if you are fervent about being with her
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

On the whole I think Preparation H feels good.

Thank you, I really do need all the luck there is. I'm panicking so much I can hardly breathe. You're not the first person who's suggested she's testing me, plus it's crossed my mind before now. I genuinely don't know. All I can think is I'm going to get badly hurt whatever happens, whether I 'come out' or not, and there's nothing I can do about it. It's just like defusing a bomb in the dark. If I cut the wrong wire, it'll be at least as bad as not trying at all.
I am so scared.

Steve, breathe. You can't do anything about it until tomorrow, so getting worked up about it isn't going to do u any good ![Wink Wink](https://atheistforums.org/images/smilies/wink.gif) take care of yourself, sleep if you need, find a way to relax, and be nice and fresh for when you see her. That's the best thing u can do right now. Oh and bring her a flower..maybe an Orchid? Be assertive and tell her what you want. It'll be all right, you're a good guy and I can only imagine that she must be an equally good woman if you like her so much ![Wink Wink](https://atheistforums.org/images/smilies/wink.gif) .
