Trying to buy a vehicle and visit a friend in the icu and help him get his stuff because his girl dropped him at the er and texted him not to come home. He's being transported from Lima to Columbus today. My car died on the way here so I had to take a plan and leave my car behind. Kids are with my sisters back in Atl

I'm fucking fuming. My mom sent me a money order issued by the USPS. I just got on my bike to take it to the post office to cash it. They refused to cash it because they don't have enough money in one drawer. I don't understand how they can get away with issuing money orders that they refuse to cash. This shouldn't be legal.

To top it off, I haven't eaten in two fucking days because I'm so broke, and between my five-mile bike ride to work, and my new, physically demanding job, I'm exhausted. I'm so sick of feeling desperate. I just want my life back.

I understand where she's coming from, but I'm just trying to regain my independence. I didn't for a second think the post office would refuse to cash the money order.

I can totally empathize because that sounds like exactly something I would do... I'm trying to gain my independence, I still haven't lived on my own yet... I'm 27 and I just so want to be fully independent.

I tend to either be underconfident or overconfident and take on too much... or if I'm not overconfident I just act it but feel nervous
