I was just checking my quiz score after doing a couple hours of studying, now I'm distracted by the forums and being mauled by my cat.

If they're those caffeinated headache tablets that would explain it.
I used to play Chess with someone years ago and whoever consumed the most caffeine during the game ALWAYS won.
Caffeine can do wonders for (short term) concentration, and there ARE caffeinated headache tablets.

I wouldn't get too addicted to those tablets
Although I'm curious what brand you're taking. Typically headache tablets make my already rampant moodswings worse, not better
