I am sitting in a bar drinking beer and eating banana cake or something like that and watching Coco Vandeweghe face Garbine Muguruza in the Australian Open Semis. Venus Williams (at age 36) is already in, and Serena is a heavy favorite to join her, so if Coco gets the upset that should be 3 American women in the semifinals!!!!!
(Edited to add: in an ice storm. I ordered dessert to prolong my stay indoors before walking back to my apartment three blocks away)

Finally home after a ~100 mile drive that took nearly 5 hours with only a 30 minute meal stop.
I'm am ever so grateful that I rented an Altima instead of driving my POS 1998 Explorer or Kitty Galore's POS 1998 Taurus.
I really should get a new car.

Glasgow is nice too, you've just got to avoid certain pubs, especially the ones filled with IRA supporting bastards but you can smell them from a mile away anyway.
