Looks like housing prices are shooting up again in my part of California. Thinking about getting my ass in gear and finding a realtor to sell my condo before the next housing crash.

Yeah, I'm looking at finding place with a little acreage to park my travel trailer on and put up a shop for my wood working and wood carving. My house is currently up about $200k in value from the original purchase price, but what I want to buy has scaled up proportionately. It would have been nice to buy the two-story around the corner for $18k more, and sell it when the market peaked for $200k more (mine only went up about $100k); that, I call "plastic money", BTW. In fact, if I had sold my current house at the peak of the market, I could have bought it back 18 months later and be mortgage-free, after the housing market tanked. Sell and sock your profit away until the next housing crash (inevitable here in CA), then swoop in and buy what you want dirt-cheap. That's my plan, anyway. Smile
