I thought perhaps you were on a wonderful vacation for the holidays.  I guess I was terribly wrong in that assumption.  Get well soon, I miss you around here.

Wishing you a healthier 2020.

Dad suggested I go and apply for a bookkeeping job/internship, and less than 24 hours ago, I applied. I got a letter asking when I would be okay for an interview in less than 2 hours. This is going terrifyingly quick.

Something I've wanted to do for a long time. At my writer's meeting, one of the writers added, at the end of their little introduction that "I use they/them" pronouns. A bunch of other people followed suit, although everyone used the standard binary pronouns. But I decided to add something to the end, after saying "[Rev. Rye's real name], short stories, and Anglotopia column," I added "motherfucker, motherfucker's." I was legitimately not sure how well that would go down, but while some of the others were confused, the non-binary writer did laugh a bit. I'm not sure of how much of this has to do with my having a reputation of talking about a lot of fucked up shit, including writing a story (non-fiction) that includes me snorting my own mother's ashes that could prime people for that, but apparently, it did go well, including with the NB who brought up the pronoun circle to begin with.

Working from home is the best. Wrapping up the day, and about to make dinner. Bought a new indoor grill and it's just perfect for grilling just about anything. Except cotton candy. I wouldn't grill that. Big Grin

Happy new year, to my fave atheists. Heart

I don't think it's any secret that I'm a pretty serious pothead.

I quit using weed about a week ago it wasn't doing my anxiety issues any favors.

I feel pretty good about it.
