Better now.

Sounds like me when I went into full respiratory arrest.
That happened as well. Long story short, I’m genetically predisposed to hypertension - even with proper diet and exercise, my BP tends to hover around 180/90. When I’m on the one ACE inhibitor I can tolerate, it stays around 130/70.
When I got my script refilled just before Christmas, they gave me the wrong med, but labeled it as the right one. Hence, the immediate anaphylaxis and all the attendant fun (fortunately, I collapsed while still in the clinic).

Finally got the chance to have a home sleep apnea test.
The assistant explained it pretty well, even though she spoke with what I think is a combination of a speech impediment of some kind and a vestigial Southern accent, that kinda made it hard to understand what she was saying. Just strap the head on, make sure your forehead is clean enough for the electrodes to stick on (and I think they did dislodge twice and the helmet kept pestering me to readjust them until I managed to fix them), attach the nosepiece to your nose, tighten the cord, tape them to your cheekbones, and turn it on, lie on your back and stare at your ceiling until it tells you to go to sleep (about three breaths) and then try to fall asleep. It’ll record the first six hours after you turn it on, and hopefully, in two weeks, they’ll have all the information to see whether or not I actually have sleep apnea.

Personally I prefer a walnut cake with me cuppa. Cheers

This week in the Deep Hurting Project: Gigli, a movie about how Jennifer Lopez plays a lesbian hitwoman for the Mafia who falls in love with Ben Affleck. And it has such a poor reputation that it seems like the "Bennifer" aspect being the only part of the preceding sentence that makes sense is the least of your problems.

I went to a zombie experience with my girlfriend yesterday.
It was good in the sense I got to feel how it is to be chased around an old Victorian mill in the dark by several people in masks. I think I was pretty good at evading capture, I dressed all in black and I told my girlfriend if she's slow I'm leaving her behind. I was one of the quickest in the group.
We all had airsoft guns but I think mine broke when I was running so quick that it smashed into a wall, I'm sure they will be able to fix it.
I was disappointed to find out that getting caught didn't even result in being infected or anything, I could have just walked around casually solving the puzzles. I think they should have done it where people got infected and had different levels of infections and all sorts, seems like a waste not to include that.
The girls on my team who did get caught told me all the zombies do is stop and ask if you're too scared, one girl on my team told me she actually pissed slightly from being so afraid. My girlfriend got caught by a zombie with a chainsaw and the zombie dressed as a Nazi rescued her and asked her if she was ok. It was funny she was acting like he was her hero and me and her both got pictures with the Nazi zombie at the end.
The scariest thing was probably the sounds, the girl zombies would fucking SCREAM, and the chainsaw one of the zombies had was real but had no chain attached it was still so loud.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
