According to what I’ve read, that’s his trouble - he’s not getting the turnout he needs.

Boru

I should note that his was eight days before the actual primary at 1 PM.

Had a bossmoot with my 2nd level manager. I'm a remote worker in the USA, and I've been given the tentative go-ahead to work remotely from wherever I please, provided that HR doesn't doesn't discover or invent a reason why I can't. I'm fucking excited, this has been a dream for over two decades and there's no obstacles at this moment so we're going to start searching for a second home in earnest.

ETA: I should have said it - we're moving, part time at first, to Mexico.

Okay, full disclosure about my vote, when I got past the state reps, I wound up just voting for whoever had the most interesting name, because I didn't recognise any of them and didn't know what their policies even were (and I didn't have the option of just saying "fuck it, re-elect them all" like I did last time). And I think might have helped re-elect the jackass who buggered up the Jussie Smollett investigation.

Down in the basement with Alison, watching the movie that started it all for us (read: me.)

For the record, A) when I first watched this, I was about the same age as Alison’s character was, B) In reality, Alison was 23 when she was making it, and C) you’ll just have to watch the movie to get C.

The library's on lockdown due to Corona fears. Fortunately, Half Price Books isn't. I got The Lottery and Other Stories, The Beach, and Invisible Republic, as well as DVDs of The Straight Story and Rush: R30.

Also, while, as mentioned in the Coronavirus thread, I managed to get two weeks' worth of films, including two Deep Hurting Project films: Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit and Movie 43.

But if the library's still closed well past April 1, I decided to cross-reference Netflix and Hulu with TVTropes' So Bad It's Horrible/Film lists. Here's what I found:
Hulu: Disaster Movie and Furry Vengeance.
Netflix: Open House and Woody Woodpecker.
The latter of each one is available on DVD at the library (which is currently closed), so if the quarantine stays for longer, it looks like I'm at least set for the next six weeks (Well, actually seven, since I've decided I'm going to have to watch the animated version of The Ten Commandments for Easter), Deep Hurting Project-wise. (Not included: Netflix has a glorified Anime infomercial called Enter the Anime that I'm not sure how to deal with and the [first two] sequels to Norm of the North but not the original, also a few films on Hulu that were only available with add-ons I do not have.)

Why does the dumpster keep emphasizing it as a "foreign" virus.
I can't stand listening to it anymore...
