So, Dad took a picture of the new Uke we built (the Ki’eHe’aLele), and put it on Facebook. My old boss from the scene shop asked if I’m selling any of them. Dad replied “not yet.”

Then I started thinking: the raw parts (to say nothing of the Labour, overhead, or even any of the screws we had to scrounge up) were really bloody expensive and it took weeks to get it ready. Then, I remembered: he works in a scene shop. He probably has a lot of the tools necessary to build it. So, I spent several hours (interrupted by my need for rest and my writing about F the Prom for the Deep Hurting Project) writing a set of detailed instructions (well, detailed for three pages, one of which was a list of materials and tools needed) about how to build it. I submitted it to Dad for further corrections and details and terminology I didn’t remember.

And after making all those changes, I explained why I was writing this up, and apparently, the old boss meant that it was good enough that I should be manufacturing them, not necessarily that he wanted one himself.

Internet dropped out and I had to wait half an hour for it to start working again. It fucks up like that every couple days, but resetting the router almost always works. Why it didn't work as well this time I don't know.

Good news: the Reverend is back at work at the candy store.

Bad News: if I didn’t already tell the boss I’d be here, I’d probably have been forced to do so anyway because it turns out WiFi no longer works at my house. It completely died sometime around 11:40, Tried resetting the router and nothing happened for over an hour. Reset it again before heading to work.

Slightly interesting news: Before shit got real, I was in the middle of a stream of the collected works of Genesis. And it turns out the Chrome still have my history from before The last song that played the last day before we went under lockdown?

Trying to get buff and I'm just starting. Never trained with weights before so, I feel both empowered to feel a burn but also weak as I can't quite keep up with the video I'm watching.
