I’m not sure we’ll go out to One of those towns that’s actually having a fireworks show this year, but on the bright side, I actually gave the Hidizs AP80 its first outing. It’s performed admirably, with the only problems being when I forgot which device I was actually using and my trying to figure out which of the thousands of albums to play. I eventually settled on In The Aeroplane Over The Sea. Also, it took several tries before we could find a place that would actually give us a table.

For the record, I’ve been wearing a Union Jack shirt on the Fourth of July for well over a decade and this is the first time anyone actually mentioned to my face the fundamental perversity of celebrating America’s independence by wearing the flag of the nation they fought to free themselves from.

I should be done with my latest construction project soon. I build 30 feet of shelving that is 12 feet high. To make access easier I have built a "library ladder" style track that has a winch operated lift that I can hop on, push the button and ride up to the ceiling......

It ain' t your transporter damnit - but it' s mine!

A buddy of mine had a pool party where the entrance fee was a big block of ice.

It helped a little. They managed to get the pool down to 82 from 90f. Still warm but better.....
