So, I still listen to CDs in my car, and for the past few weeks, I’ve been going through the 10-disc highlights of the Woodstock Festival. Because I can’t really slim down the package (which is a book about the size of an LP and significantly thicker) I’ve been carrying the whole thing to and from the car when I go to work. Today, a chain reaction spurred on by my trying to read a text from Dad (and, yes, I pulled over and parked before reading it) led to me accidentally emptying my water bottle and it hit a lot of the book. Dad and I took some time trying to resurrect it (using an iron with heat, but no steam) , and given that some of the pages got torn, I’m not sure whether or not we fixed it or made it worse. Once I finish it and rip it to my computer, We’re returning it to them in person and throwing ourselves on the mercy of the library I checked it out of.

So, I take it you don’t have a travel guitar or a Pignose amp?

Nah, what I want to pack is a 5w tube head with a vox cab and a Les Paul copy but I might just pack a Fender acoustic electric if I can't make it work. The biggest PITA is unloading everything at night so I'm packing light.

This grocery shopping online thing is an interesting animal.

Husband quit drinking coffee a couple years ago after being hospitalized for a week - apparently hospital coffee turned him off so much he didn't want coffee from anywhere. But he has mentioned recently that he's been drinking coffee at work. I asked if he wanted me to add some to the order and he did so I put coffee in the cart.

This morning I got a text saying they didn't have that particular coffee. I ran in the store and grabbed coffee only to get home and find the coffee they 'didn't have' in my online order. So now we have two containers of coffee...he better be drinking a lot of coffee.
